Managing 3CX Applications

Modifié le  Jeu, 11 Sept. à 12:09 H

Over the years, 3CX has released several applications to manage calls through their system.

Versions 16 and 18 are now obsolete and no longer supported by 3CX. Reliability and security issues may occur.

It is therefore strongly recommended to remove these versions from your computers and use either the latest 3CX app (Windows Store), the web client, or a web application (PWA).

Also, if multiple versions are active, you may receive simultaneous notifications for an incoming call, which can quickly become confusing.

This guide details how to uninstall or disable old versions of 3CX applications in order to ensure optimal and secure use of your 3CX tools.

Versions

  • 3CX V16 (3CXPhone for Windows)

  • 3CX V18 (3CX Desktop App)

  • 3CX V20 (Windows Store)
